Dates: Saturday, February 18 This one day workshop will cover the basics of screenprinting onto fabric where you will make up to 10 2-color prints on something you bring. It could be t-shirts, pillow cases, totebags, tea towels – pretty much anythign that is flat. We'll cover art and film preparation, screens - mesh, emulsion, exposure, cleaning and registration. You can bring your own art or we have plenty of imagery you can scan and use. The morning session will start with some of the basics and a short demonstration. Then we'll continue by preparing your art, burning screens - break for lunch - and then come back and spend the afternoon printing. At the end of the day you'll walk away with general knowledge of screen-printing, a small booklet of resources, and about 10 prints of your work. Here's some photos of other { fabric ink } projects that people created. As registration is limited to 8 people, this is first come, first serve. Once we receive an email confirming your payment, we'll send out more details about the workshop. Cancellation is due 1 week prior to receive a refund. Cancellations received less than one week before date may be credited towards a future workshop or prints.
